Our Capabilities:
Our primary mission is to provide training to NCR based CERT units. Our specialization is large scale disaster simulation. This service is provided free of charge to aid qualified agencies. Our staff is qualified to teach:
- First Aid/CPR
- Disaster emergency operations
- Medical operations
- Light search and rescue
- Radio communications
All of our members are certified under ICS. Many also hold NIMS certification. Most are qualified in first aid/CPR with many at BLS or at a higher medical training level. A significant percentage holds FCC amateur radio licenses ranging from technician to amateur extra. Many are trained under FEMA's CERT program. Some staff are dive certified. A number are experienced with cave and confined spaces rescue.
We maintain our training both internally and through participation with other emergency response groups and train in all weather conditions and across all terrains.
